Day 1: Tête Rousse Hut (3,167 m)


Difference in altitude: 1,450 m
Ascent time: 2-3 hours
Meeting point: Courmayeur for equipment check and briefing.

We begin with a transfer to Les Houches by car. From there, we take the Bellevue cable car to the rail station, followed by a scenic train ride to Nid d’Aigle. Our ascent to the Tête Rousse Hut (3,167 m) takes approximately 2 hours.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

Day 2: Goûter Hut (3,814 m) & Mont Blanc summit


Difference in altitude: 1,650 m
Ascent time: 3-4 hours

We start early at 3:00 AM from Tête Rousse Hut, ascending towards Goûter Hut (3,817 m) for a short pause. Continuing the climb, we traverse a glacial plateau to reach Dôme du Goûter (4,250 m).

After a brief stop at the Vallot Hut, we push towards the summit via the stunning Bosses Ridge. Finally, we stand atop Mont Blanc (4,810 m), the highest peak in the Alps!

Day 3: Return to Les Houches


Difference in altitude: 2,050 m descent

We wake up at Goûter Hut and descend back to Tête Rousse Hut for breakfast. From there, we continue down the same route as the first day, reaching Les Houches.

The last cable car run from Bellevue to Les Houches is around 5:30 PM. Upon arrival at the parking area, we will take time to celebrate our summit with a well-earned lunch and a beer!

For those staying in Chamonix overnight, we recommend planning ahead to avoid missing transport (train or flight) in case of any delays.
